The following four photographs, © by Flavio Quintana and Yorio Pablo, were taken at Punta León, Chubut, Argentina, in November 2000.

Note the orange-tinged base of bill in lower bird and the positioning of the gonys near the base of the bill in the top bird and near the middle of the bill in the lower bird. According to Flavio Quintana, "I saw few individuals with bright orange bills but unfortunately we don't have any pictures."
